The 1911/2011 ambidextrous safeties with shields by DAA is suitable for all 1911 and 2011 pistol variants. The safety is ambidextrous, with a lever on both sides. Both sides are also shielded, which helps to keep the thumbs from accidentally touching the slide. This prevents potential failures. The levers are textured for extra grip on both sides.
