  • ZAN Projectiles 6.35 mm HP 35 grain (.250) airgun slugs offer an impressive uniformity, thanks to the production process where they’re swaged. This process provides a high level of equality that’s unreachable with forging. This uniformity is the key to great accuracy.

    Thanks to the soft lead, the airgun slugs perfectly set to the rifling of the barrel, making for a minimum or air loss and a maximum of speed. The soft compound also gives a very rapid and big expansion on impact. These ZAN Projectiles 6.35 mm HP 35 grain (.250) airgun slugs are packed separately in the box, as to prevent them from damaging while being transported.

    Lots of burr around hollow mouth.

    ZAN claims they “offer an impressive uniformity”, but I disagree with them, based on the amount of burr around the hollow mouth. Most of the slugs do not show as nicely as they are presented in the description picture. H&N, in contrast, do look better, despite being packed in a regular tin box.

    Other than that, it’s all good. Krale was quick in dispatching my order!

    ZAN New Design, Une très belle évolution pour la précision

    Je n'avais pas de très bons résultats de précision avec les slugs ZAN jusqu'à présent dans mes FX Impact, Panthera et Dynamic, mais depuis que ZAN a revu sa fabrication, la nouvelle génération sorti maintenant il y a plus de 6 mois est vraiment excllentes. Les boites marquées du logo rouge "New Design" font la différence avec les anciens. Je préconise en cal .25 les slugs en 33-35 et 37 grains qui donnent de très bons résultats à 50-100-200 et 250m pour les avoir testé. Les poids de 33 à 37 grains sont déjà suffisant sans être non plus trop lourd et consommer trop d'air pour garder de bonnes vitesses (entre 275 et 295ms les résultats sont excellent)
