The Wiley X Jakl – Captivate Tungsten Mirror Lenses – Matte Black/Tan Frame is a very durable pair of glasses. It has an extremely strong and lightweight frame made of a hardy nylon. The glasses have a wraparound design, fitting closely to the face. Thanks to rubberised nose pads and temple tips the glasses are sure to remain in place no matter what. Interchangeable lenses allow the wearer to adjust to different conditions.

The lenses themselves are ballistically rated at the highest US military standard (MIL-PRF-32432A). They are shatterproof and have a scratch-resistant coating. An anti-reflective coating reduces glare by eliminating reflections on the back surface of the lenses. The Captivate lens technology also enhances colour, thus providing more contrast. Furthermore, the lenses are also treated with an oleophobic coating, which helps in preventing smudging on the lenses.
