Ear Defender Sordin Supreme X2 Memory Foam - Black

This black Sordin Supreme X2 ear defender is equipped with memory foam earpads. Thanks to the Hear2 system, ambient sound remains clearly audible or is even amplified.

Amplification of ambient sound and dampening loud noise makes this ear defender extremely suitable for hunting and shooting. This functionality can also be adjusted to specific situations with different sound profiles. Two microphones on the outside ensure that ambient noise is audible and clear, while also ensuring that the direction of the sound can be determined accurately.

The Sordin Supreme X2 has four audio profiles: ‘hunter’, ‘focus’, ‘shooter’ and ‘ambient off’. The first three vary in the degree in which they muffle noise and amplify ambient sounds. The hunter profile is the standard, which provides ambient sound at a natural volume while also providing muffling for loud noises. Focus further amplifies the ambient sound, making it ideal for detecting sounds from game animals or footsteps. Shooter dampens the noise much more and is, as the name suggests, intended for use on a shooting range for instance. The last profile, ambient off, turns the ear defender into a passive device, without any active sound dampening or amplification. Communication is still possible in this mode.

Communication is an essential part of an active ear defender such as the black Sordin Supreme X2 with memory foam earpads. Because loud noises are dampened and communication can be played very clearly inside the headset, communication remains possible in noisy environments. Attachment of a microphone with a radio connection is possible using the AUX port of the ear defender.
