Blaser R8 Professional Black

The Blaser R8 Professional Black is a big bore rifle with a modular design. This version consists of a black stock, an R8 receiver and bolt, as well as a Blaser R8 Standard 520 mm barrel. The stock is made of impact-resistant synthetic material and it has inlays made of rubber-like elastomer. The inlays are impregnated, which means they are weatherproof and durable, while also providing added grip. This rifle features the righthanded version of the R8 receiver and bolt. The barrel has a length of 520 mm and it has M15x1 thread, which allows you to easily mount a moderator onto the Blaser R8 Professional Black.
In addition to the rifle, this Blaser R8 Professional Black also comes with several essential extras, which allow you to start using it to shoot right away. These additional parts are carefully selected to further build upon the excellent foundation of the R8 by Blaser.

Rifle scope Blaser B2 1.7-10x42 iC with rail
The Blaser R8 Professional Black is a highly accurate rifle and as such it should come with a proper rifle scope. This rifle scope has a decent magnification of 1.7x10x, which allows you to zoom in without ever losing oversight. The rifle scope has a field-of-view at 100 metres of 24 metres at minimum magnification and 4 metres at maximum magnification. The 42 mm objective diameter and the compact design make the Blaser B2 rifle scope well-suited for multiple types of hunts. It has a decent light transmission of 94% during the day and of 92% at nighttime.
The rifle scope has a comfortable eye relief of 90 mm and the exit pupil diameter is 9.8-4.2 mm. It has a set parallax at 100 metres, which cannot be adjusted. The position of the reticle can be adjusted and both the elevation turret and the windage turret have an adjustment range of 145 cm at a distance of 100 metres. One click represents an adjustment of 1 cm at 100 metres. The reticle is located on the second focal plane, which means it will maintain its size at all times.
The rifle scope also features an illuminated reticle. It uses the iC (Illumination Control) function, which allows the rifle scope and the rifle to communicate with one another through the Blaser R8 bolt. Pre-cocking the rifle will automatically activate the illuminated reticle. The illuminated dot in the reticle uses a CR2032 battery.
The Blaser B2 rifle scope is nitrogen-purged to prevent the lenses from fogging up on the inside. Additionally, it is entirely waterproof to a depth of no less than 5 metres, which means it is more than capable of withstanding the elements.

Blaser saddle mount for ZM rail
The Blaser Saddle Mount is a mounting base that can be placed in four notches on the barrel and it can be secured without the need for tools, by simply closing the two levers on the side. Once zeroed, you can take the system -along with the rifle scope- off and remount it as many times as you want. You won’t have to re-zero afterwards. The one-piece mount is made of black anodised aluminium, which means it can take a hit and that it has excellent corrosion resistance.

Blaser protective covers
The B2 1.7-10x42 iC rifle scope by Blaser comes equipped with protective covers on both the ocular and the objective. The protective cover on the ocular can easily be mounted in whatever orientation you prefer. Aside from that, it will also become a part of the iC (Illumination Control) function. It comes with a plate that houses a small magnet, which can be clamped in between two elevated lines on the inside of the cover. That magnet will turn on the illuminated reticle as soon as you flip open the lens cover. Closing the lens cover will force the reticle to shut off after a few seconds.
The protective cover for the objective also has a well-thought-out design. There’s a removable plate on the front of the lens cover and removing that will expose the Dovetail system. You can easily slide the Blaser CM attachment over the objective to mount it, without having to remove the protective cover first.

At this stage we’ve probably made our point about how complete a product the Blaser R8 Professional Black rifle is. That’s why we’ve also included a rifle sling, which allows you to take it out into the field right out of the box. The Blaser Charcoal rifle sling is made of black cordura. The shoulder pad is made of neoprene and it feels very soft, while also boasting excellent anti-slip properties. This makes the rifle sling exceptionally comfortable to wear. It’s length-adjustable and it has a universal cartridge case for two rounds.

You can use this durable and robust rifle bag to easily transport the Blaser R8 Professional Black. It provides more than enough room to store a rifle with a rifle scope and is fully padded, which allows you to store and transport your rifle safely. The slip has a total length of 128 cm and has two firm handles and a shoulder strap, which can be used to transport the bag, as well as a shoulder strap. Additionally, it comes with two combination locks, which can be looped through the two-way zip.
