This Nielsen 5.5 mm HPDB 35 grain (.217) slugs are swaged from soft lead and as such, they are all shaped exactly the same. This results in uniformity of weight and shape, which guarantees extreme accuracy over longer distances. These slugs have a ballistic coefficient of 0.12.
The hollow point and the soft lead allow the Nielsen 5.5 mm HPDB 35 grain (.217) slugs to expand rapidly, resulting in a sizeable impact.
