The Timney Remington 700 Elite Hunter trigger is made from durable, hard A2 steel. Also, the sears are finished with a Teflon-nickel coating for added hardness and self-lubricating properties. This helps preserve the crisp operation of this single-stage trigger indefinitely. The housing and trigger blade are both produced using CNC machining for maximum precision. Additionally, the trigger blade is carbonitrided, resulting in improved wear resistance.
