I chose the 600, because I wanted something quiet and easy to use. And that's exactly what I got. I wouldn't hunt with it, but for my 25Y backyard plinking it's perfect. Paper doesn't care how hard I hit it.
Anyway, for a quality-as-expected German (with a touch of Swiss) gun (Hammerli=Carl Walther) in that price-range, well... you should just buy it and quit reading the reviews.
I plan on adding the upper models to my collection as time goes on. It'll make for a handsome collection without investing too much.
