This FX Superior STX Liner Heavy is the successor of the very successful FX STX Slug Liner A. Just as with the original STX (Smooth Twist X) liner, the rifling is pressed in from the outside, resulting in a very smooth finish, minimalizing drag. The process is optimised and some small modifications have been made for an even more precise method of manufacturing with smaller tolerances and thus an even higher accuracy.

The FX Superior STX Liner Heavy has a special twist rate for use of heavy pellets and slugs, giving superior accuracy.

The advantage of the use of liners is the fact you can easily change calibres and twist rates in the FX STX barrel system. This also means an upgrade such as this Superior STX liner will slot right into your FX STX barrel without the need for modifications.

4.5 mm / .177 - 500/600/700 mm
5.5 mm / .22 – 380/500/600/700/800 mm

I was able to get good grouping with this liner using jsb mk11 33.95 pellets at around 925fps although higher speeds made my pellet spiral.

Pros:
Tighter groups with jsb mk11 33.95gr

Cons:
Doesn’t like higher speeds with mk11 pellets
