The Weihrauch HW97 Black Line is a high-quality spring-powered air rifle featuring an underlever cocking system and the widely acclaimed two-stage ‘Rekord’ trigger. This air rifle has no open sights and is specifically designed for use with a rifle scope. It features a synthetic stock with a raised cheekpiece. The butt is fitted with a rubber recoil pad, which helps absorb recoil and provides a secure shoulder grip. The pistol grip with thumbhole ensures a steady hold and grip.
Synthetic ‘Black Line’ stock
The Weihrauch HW97 Black Line features a black synthetic stock that is highly resistant to scratches and moisture. This makes this version particularly well suited to shooters who use the air rifle extensively outdoors. The stock is also fitted with a pistol grip and thumbhole, which can help promote a more consistent shooting position. The thumbhole stock can also feel more comfortable during longer shooting sessions, as it allows the hand and wrist to adopt a more natural position.
Air rifle designed for use with a rifle scope
The Weihrauch HW97 Black Line is an air rifle that has been optimised and designed specifically for use with a rifle scope. This spring-powered air rifle has no open sights, making it particularly suitable for shooters who intend to use the rifle with a telescopic sight at all times. The stock has therefore been specially designed with rifle-scope shooting in mind. As the line of sight through a rifle scope is higher than with open sights, the stock features a slightly raised cheekpiece to provide the correct alignment. This allows the shooter to adopt a comfortable shooting position.
A rifle scope is not included with the air rifle. For all-round use, we recommend a scope with a magnification range of 3-12x or 4-16x, which is ideal for distances between 20 and 50 metres. With this Weihrauch rifle, it is also important to consider the length of the scope because of the loading port located behind the barrel. It is therefore advisable to choose a scope that is not too long, as an excessively long scope can make it difficult to load a pellet.
Short barrel
The HW97 Black Line is mechanically identical to the HW97. The main difference is the shorter barrel of the HW97 Black Line. One advantage of this shorter barrel is that it makes the air rifle slightly lighter, making it more compact and easier to transport. The weight is positioned relatively further towards the rear, which can make the rifle feel somewhat better balanced for some shooters.
Ultimate precision
Cocking the HW97 Black Line is done using the underlever cocking system. It functions by using the lever underneath the barrel in order to tension the spring in the rifle, cocking the rifle in the process. The great advantage of this system in comparison to a break-barrel system is that the barrel forms a fixed, single piece together with the pressure cylinder. When mounting a rifle scope on the 11-millimetre dovetail mounting rail, it will thus always be in line with the barrel. With a break-barrel action, this is often not the case, as the barrel is a separate piece.
Haven't shot springer since I was young. This gun drives tacks! Looks great too. Absolutely the best service I've seen in a long while. Would recommend without hesitation.

This is my first air rifle and I have nothing to compare it with. Delivery was fast, I ordered it Thursday evening and received it on Monday. What I can already tell now, is that this rifle has a great trigger.
I am satisfied with this purchase from Krale; fast shipping and received what I have ordered. Now I'm waiting my scope from other company and I will test my new rifle to the fullest. I think I will not be disappointed. Thank you Krale, for your service.

Simply the best!
Review byJessie Cole
I’ve watched reviews, but they don’t do this rifle justice. This is by far the best air rifle I’ve ever purchased. It’s built like a tank and will last a lifetime. I took it out of the box, cleaned the barrel and took it straight to the range. Simply WOW! The accuracy is amazing. It was extremely well packed and shipping was outstanding. Label created on the 5th and was delivered to my door on the 7th and I live in the United States. Shipping from the Netherlands to the US was faster than shipping from US to US!!! “Wow” Great job Krale I will definitely shop with you again!!! A++++

Top notch rifle and great service
Review byGrant
Ordered gun from the States and it arrived three days later. Unheard of shipping!
I topped this rifle with a Hawke 4-12x40 AMX and Sportmatch DM60, both recommended by Krale.
The rifle shoots like a dream. The Rekord trigger is amazing. I have not adjusted it yet, as it seems to be set just right. I'm not an expert air rifle shooter, but this gun, in .22, is putting one ragged hole at 25 yards. Everything on this gun is just fit nicely.

Outstanding!
Review byFreddy
This thing is truly a masterpiece. Out of the box, my HW97 in .177 was great! Being a perfectionist, I went ahead and had mine tuned with a Vortek PG4 kit and now... WOW!!!
It is now close to 16 fpe vs the stock 14-15 fpe, but it's quieter and less hold sensitive! I can set a pellet on the elevation turret and it doesn't budge through the shot cycle, that's how sweet it is. It is now pushing a JSB Exact Heavy 10.34 @ 825850 fps, and I'm consistently shooting dimes at 20 meters ALL DAY!
I know I'm using a lot of exclamation points but seriously... this thing is bad medicine out to 60 meters, no problem. The ONLY con that comes to mind: it's heavy. If you do a lot of walking around, then get something lighter. If you ambush your prey or want the most accurate springer out there... get this now!!

Pour : rien à dire, excellente carabine.
Review byIoannis

A great gun. Fit and finish are perfection. Accuracy is outstanding .
Review byGary Portz
I placed my order late Sunday night. I was putting a scope on the rifle on Wednesday night. Outstanding service.I have put over 1000 pellets down the barrel. Mine really liked the 8.44gr domed pellet @ 884fps in .177. I have the TX 111 in 22cal, but the HW 97 in the smaller calibre really shines @ 50yds. The balance is excellent. I am a happy customer.

By the first inspection it looks like a top notch springer.
Review byRAK
I have just received the HW97K. By the first inspection it looks like a top notch springer. I have not done a lot of shooting with this rifle yet. I am waiting on a Hawke scope I have just ordered. I am sure once I get this rifle all put together with the new scope I will be very happy with this rifle. It has a lot of great reviews. From RAK on 03/20/2021 in the USA

If you could see my smile.
Review byEdward Van Brunt Jr.
My first air gun was a springer and it took me some time to become accurate with it. My immediate accuracy surprised me and should only improve over time. I also have three PCP air guns. I was not prepared for the performance of this air gun. It far exceeded every expectation I had prior to my purchase. I am shooting 7.9 gr (cheap) Crosman Premier hollow points chronographed at 930 fps/283 m. out to 64 yards/58 m. with surprising accuracy. I now know why every article or video raves about the trigger and the smooth cocking and the accuracy of this air gun. The fit and finish are of the highest quality and Krale's prices are a bargain.
