I have just received the DeathGrip. Out of the box, I am very happy with the construction. Seems sturdy with my Ruger Precision mounted in it. I have not taken it out to the field yet. But from the testing I have done at home, I am very excited to bring this out.
The weight is a bit on the heavy side, so you wouldn't want to be trekking over mountains with it. But if you are bringing it out for a short hike, this is a perfect solid platform to shoot from.
