The Hogan Decimeater silencer is one of the world's most famous silencer. This silencer is made of T606 aircraft grade aluminium and filled with strips of felting.
The high gloss black finish silencer can be stripped easily for cleaning. This silencer gives excelllent sound moderating performance to all air rifles up to 135 joules/100 ft.lbs. with half inch UNF fitting.
Please note that silencers/sound moderators are more effective on CO2/PCP airguns than on gas piston/spring powered airguns as it only suppresses the muzzle sound and not the mechanical sound.
In the mid price range this seems to be the best silencer/moderator to go for. Certainly very effective and looks good.

Transport, packaging all in first-class quality. A test has already taken place according to the rules of the dB test, i.e. 1 m from the source and perpendicular to the end of the barrel.
Tested on Kral Arms Puncher Jumbo Dazzle Camo .22 set at 16J.
The barrel is of the shrouded type.
Without silencer 88 dB.
With silencer 76 dB.
Measured in a room of 12 square metres.

My gun is 5.5mm and 30 ft/lbs and with this silencer I hear.... nothing. Only the hammer hitting the valve. Very well-built and looks great on my gun.

I am using it on my Kral Puncher Nemesis. 22 cal. and its great silencer. Maybe too long but very quiet and accurate. It didn't change my POI and focus, I love it. I have 65J airgun and it easily makes it quiet, so even for stronger airguns it's a good choice!

Took the bark out of my FX Wildcat and all I can hear is a soft klank from the action. Amazing thing. Accuracy remained the same, had to tweak my zero an inch or so and then it was sending pellet over pellet in the same hole. Tried the moderator on the shroud with an 1/2 UNF adapter and on the bare barrel after removing the shroud (barrel ends in male 1/2 UNF thread) -The sound with the shroud was pretty much the same as the sound on the bare barrel with the shroud removed, which means that all the work was done by the moderator. At this price it is a steal!
