The Evanix Rex-P is a new PCP single shot air pistol. This powerhouse is very light weight and uses its trigger guard as cocking mechanism. By cocking the trigger guard the loading port will be exposed and a pellet can easily be inserted.

Evaluation after first 10 shots

.22 version, filled to 200 bar. After 10 shots the pressure dropped to 100 bar, as expected. I missed the readings of the first shots but the last shots were between 30 and 20 joules.
Seems very well made and operates smoothly.
Received a version I had never seen before: the pressure gauge is almost under the rail and the tank has no filling hole cap, but the tank does have a position-locking nut and that’s super nice.

there's a comment there that says (in cal 50 only 2 shots), only if the person has used the pellets (Air Venturi .50 Cal 336gr) with those of course it's only 2 shots because in my opinion 336gr is too heavy for REX-P, it's pistol format not rifle. Attention!!! the pellets (Airgun Slugs Hunters Supply .50 FP 336gr (.510)) size .510 are exclusive to Hatsan Piledriver, Airforce Texan, Humarex Hammer all in Cal. 50 (.510) and perhaps others to come in the future, the pellets Cal 50 (.510 size) is it does not give for this REX-P. I had already seen it on the NET before buying on Cal 50, and then I confirmed that it turned out the same as I had seen, I shot 4 pellets 210gr from 250Bar to 125BAR and the 4th shot still comes out with acceptable power, I have the 185gr pellets but I haven't tested them yet (I bought the REX-P in July 2023) in fact probably I could even have shot a 5th pellet of 210gr because it was at 125Bar after firing 4 and the instruction manual recommends not to lower the pressure below 100Bar. with the 185gr of course it will be enough for 5 shots, and in the video I saw on the NET shot 7 balls RB 177gr from 250 up to 120bar. In Cal 50 Very Powerful for Pistol Format !, by the recoil ! the high noise ! the sensation it seems that we are using a "firearm"

Incredible power, accuracy is predictable

Although I did not purchase here, I picked up the Rex-P 50 and could not be happier. Incredible power, accuracy is predictable with a good scope and practice, easily blast through 2x6 at 30 yards, and metal plates 3/16 at the same distance. Now I want the .30 so here I am.

What a hell of a monster, ladies and gentlemen

I bought it in cal. .50, and it is impressive how powerful this thing shows. Tested up to 80 meters with an UTG Micro Flex Red Dot it delivers exciting accuracy and still a more than heavy impact. Also shot it with 12,7 x 19mm steel Pellets of 12Gramms, which seems to double the kinetic energy up to 50meters. Quite a nice airgun and definitely worth to buy - I am a hunter, and though I did not hunt anymore because of empathy and respect for weaker creatures today, this thing would surely be suitable for big game up to 50 meters and more if you are a good shooter. My tip is to order some reserve cylinders or a pair of the long ones to get more than 4 powerful shots out of this monster. The .50 cal. - Version can be filled up to a Max. of 250bar. I tested it up to 300bar, and got 5 powerful shots out of it, but as this is not covered by warranty, I do not recommend to perform as I do.
Pros:
Up to 320 Joule Power with steel Ammo in cal. .50, even with the 336gr lead big bores up to 250J - exact if trained to shoot up to 80meters with heaviest kind of impact (more is possible as I could see on YT)
Cons:
As already mentioned above.. because all that compressed air releases with an enormous amount of power, there is a lot of noise coming out of this toy

Powerful PCP pistol

This pistol is one of my favorites - quite deadly for a PCP pistol. Accuracy is quite good as well. The only issue is that the trigger requires a more than reasonable amount of force.

Trigger should be a bit easier but is not a showstopper.

Wat betreft geluid is wel luid maar heb nog een ander pcp pistool ataman pp700 maakt veel meer lawaai. Kwa treffers met red dot op 50 meter binnen de 10 cm 5 schoten. Wat betreft het aantal schoten per vulling is ongeveer 16. Zeker aan te raden super krachtig.

Even with the custom made silencer from Wolf Airguns it is still loud - I have opted to get an adapter made for fitting the quietest silencer with 1/2 UNF thread at the end - let’s see how quite it is?

This pistol ist very light weight and simple in handling and operating.
Solid made from good materials.
It is that powerfull but not too accurate so that you need to take care for a reliable backstop of large size anyway.
It is not easy to zero scope and pistol, it takes several shots and as the pistol is not regulated the bullet drop increases with number of shots significantly. This has to be taken into consideration, when using the small size cylinder. But you can mount also the longer one an optimize the velocity. One has to get used to the pistol and train to improve accuracy.
The noise level can be reduced significantly by a Wolf-Aiguns silencer.
Pros:
Very powerfull, tough quality.
Cons:
Much too loud - not for back yard use! Silencer is required anyway!
