Airsoft parts will help you get the very best out of your airsoft replica. We’ve got airsoft upgrade parts from the best manufacturers for all your airsoft upgrades and airsoft tuning. Want to know more about our airsoft gun parts? Read more
An airsoft replica is filled to the brim with parts. It’s actually a very clever piece of kit that internally is completely different from any firearm. Depending on the power source, an airsoft replica can contain gears, electronics, compressed gas or air and many static and moving parts. These will require maintenance, but also offer a great opportunity for tuning. For this reason, we offer a large assortment of airsoft internals for repairs, upgrades and tuning.
Normally, people tend to think ‘speed’, when it comes to tuning. But don’t think that airsoft tuning will just make your replica more powerful to shoot harder. That can be done with ease, of course, but it won’t help you much as there are power limits for airsoft. So, what does tuning offer you then, except for more power? Airsoft gun internals are often a compromise between functionality, durability and manufacturing costs. Airsoft upgrade parts will help you to get the best and even more out of your replica. You can completely customise it to suit your wishes. Want more fire-modes? Faster cycles? More accuracy? It’s all possible with the high-quality airsoft parts of well-known brands. Even if you just want to improve durability, these parts will definitely help you to achieve that. In short, whatever upgrades you have in mind, we’ll have the airsoft upgrade parts to suit.
Which airsoft parts do you need?
We’ve got a huge assortment of airsoft parts. Some of them are electronic, others are static or dynamic mechanical parts. What all these parts have in common, is that they’re high quality and they will be an improvement of the original parts you’re replacing. Often, better materials are used and better designs. Below, we’ll point out what you can expect of the multiple airsoft upgrade parts:
Hop-up – A high-quality hop-up will be more consistent. And there will be different options for adjustment. Some will prefer to have clicks in the adjustment, while others want a stepless adjustment for eve more precision in tuning.
Gearbox – Build-quality is the foremost reason to opt for an upgraded gearbox. A lot of forces are acting on the housing, often causing fatigue cracks eventually. Even more so when you’ve started experimenting with more powerful motors, et cetera. Upgraded gearboxes are designed to better withstand these forces. And not only the housing is stronger, the gears are too and don’t forget improved bearings.
Motor – There are many reasons to choose another motor from our vast range of airsoft parts. A more powerful motor will make a completely standard replica a lot quieter. And when used in combination with a stronger spring, more torque will help the motor to overcome the increased resistance, preventing it from slowing down. And if it’s purely the rate of fire that you want to speed up, you can choose a motor with more revs. These aren’t necessarily more powerful, but do increase the rate of fire.
Inner barrel – The inner barrel can have a big influence on the accuracy of an airsoft replica. A high-quality inner barrel, made from suitable material (often stainless steel, sometimes brass or aluminium) will have a near perfect finish. You can experiment with barrel length and barrel diameter.
Cylinder – The choice of material and the way it is made airtight is important when choosing a cylinder. Another important factor is the capacity. This should be matched to the barrel length in a cylinder/barrel ratio. Too little capacity and the BB won’t make it out of the barrel. Too much and the accuracy will suffer.
Piston & piston head – As with all other airsoft parts, it’s the quality of the material that can enhance durability. A lighter piston can also provide you with more speed (and less wear on the other components). Teeth can be made more durable by making them -or at least the ones that takes the highest load- from metal. And the air seal of an upgraded piston head is often significantly better, meaning less air loss, giving more fps.
Spring – The stronger the spring (more firm), the more power it will deliver. And more power equals more speed. However, a stronger spring will also put more load on airsoft internals. You can upgrade these to withstand the heavier load. A linear spring can also be replaced with a non-linear (progressive) spring that will build up the load more subtle in the beginning.
Spring guide – The spring guide prevents the spring from bending away when compressing. A well-fitting spring guide also helps to make the replica quieter. Spring guides with a bearing prevent a loss of power that’s caused of built-up torsion in the spring.
Nozzle – A nozzle from our airsoft upgrade parts, is usually made from more durable material with a better finish and fit. Often, more O-rings are used for an improved air seal. This will give a more effective use of air and gas and/or more fps.
MOSFET – This piece of electronics can give you, for example, extra fire modes, protect the trigger contacts, adjust the rate of fire and give you many other adjustment options. A MOSFET can also protect against voltage overload, et cetera.
O-ring sets – A perfect air seal is the key to uniformity and accuracy. A good seal also helps you get the best speed and the most economical use of air and gas. Making sure all O-rings are in perfect order assures a perfect seal.
Trigger – More or more refined adjustment options can be had with an upgraded trigger.
Wiring – Even wiring can be improved. Cables can be more durable and thicker cores will give you less resistance, as do silver plated contacts.
Connectors – When changing to a different battery or making a modification or upgrade, it’s sometimes needed to convert to different connectors. We’ve got all the commonly used connectors in stock, such as Deans-T, (mini) Tamiya, flat, et cetera.
