About Krale

The Krale gunshop made its name in sport shooting and is now a nationally as well as internationally renowned and reliable address that’s also well known for hunting and airsoft. Krale is a long time importer for many well known brands with a portfolio that keeps expanding.

Despite the fact Krale has become a big name in the international market with an incredible wide range of products in both the 1400 m² store as in the multilingual webshop, the friendly small town character has stayed firmly intact. The customer still comes first and a lot of our staff members themselves are involved in sport shooting, hunting and airsoft, which makes conversation that much easier.

With that expertise and professionality on one side and on the other good customer service and a friendly atmosphere, Krale has built up an exceptionally loyal customer base, nationally as well as internationally.

HISTORY

• 1900: gunshop and ammunition works Krale is established by Harm Krale;

• 1946: business, by now renowned for their own ammunition, is taken over by son Egbert Krale;

• 1952: first expansion of the gunshop;

• 1971: second expansion with relocation to a new address;

• 1977: business is taken over by son Harm Krale. Ammunition works has already stopped and focus is on sport shooting;

• 2007: a webshop is opened and the name changes to Krale Schietsport;

• 2010: another expansion of the store. Meanwhile the fourth generation Krale is working in the company;

• 2014: a new, multilingual webshop is launched;

• 2018: fourth expansion with a relocation to the current superstore at Achthoevenweg 36 in Staphorst. Besides sport shooting, Krale now also specialises in hunting and airsoft. With that, the name Krale Schietsport changes back to Krale once again and a completely new multilingual webshop is launched.
