What the Brexit means when shopping at Krale
With the United Kingdom leaving the European Union, quite some things are about to change when shopping online. Your order might be detained for a bit at the border, which could mean you will have to wait just a little longer for your ordered products to arrive.
There will also be some changes to the way VAT charges, custom duties and handling fees will be taken care of. For orders under GBP 135, which is just under 150 Euros, VAT will have to be charged by us, which we then have to declare. Above this amount the VAT and customs duties will be collected by Royal Mail from you, the customer, prior to delivery. These charges are applied on behalf of HM Revenue & Customs.
Minimum order amount for the UK
Because of the technical and administrative difficulty this creates we have chosen to implement a minimum order amount of £ 135 excluding VAT in our webshop as a temporary measure while we work on the best possible solution for the issues that arise with the Brexit. Your order will be sent VAT free by Krale, and you will pay the correct amount of VAT and customs duties to the Royal Mail on behalf of HMRS prior to delivery.
If you have any questions, or if you would still like to place a smaller order, don’t hesitate to contact us by mail at email@example.com, live chat or Facebook Messenger. We’re happy to help and hope to continue being your preferred dealer in shooting sports, hunting and airsoft products!
