Umarex Marlin Revolver

The Umarex Marlin revolver is an airsoft replica based on a traditional single-action revolver. Despite its low weight, this is a powerful replica.

Its design allows the Umarex Marlin to be used as a real single-action revolver, where the hammer needs to be tensioned for every shot. The cylinder is fixated and integrated into the frame of the replica, resulting in an increase in magazine capacity. This magazine is cleverly located in what would normally be the ejector rod, where BBs are guided to the back of the replica, through the cylinder. As a result, magazine capacity is 13 BBs.

BBs are propelled by the CO₂ capsule in the pistol grip. Installing the capsule is very straightforward and starts with removing the left grip plate. After this, the CO₂ capsule can be placed into the recess in the grip.  The left grip plate contains a built-in hex key, which can then be used to tighten the capsule and perforate it. After that, the grip plate can be put back in place, making the replica ready to fire.

The efficiency of this replica is impressive: numerous magazines can be fired with a single CO₂ capsule. The Umarex Marlin revolver does this with a solid velocity to boot. Muzzle velocities can reach up to 390 fps.
