This Pulsar Thermion 2 XL50 LRF thermal imaging rifle scope is ideally suited for hunters that set out in early dawn, late dusk or in complete darkness. It provides a crisp image that enables you to scope your target clearly, regardless of environmental lighting. The thermal imaging rifle scope has a magnification of 1.75-14x, so you can clearly see the target. It has a field-of-view of 24.6x18.4 metres at a distance of 100 metres. The PIP-function allows you to zoom in on your target without losing oversight. There are ambidextrous focus wheels on either side of the objective. This means the focus can easily be adjusted by both lefthanded shooters and righthanded shooters.
The Pulsar Thermion 2 XL50 LRF is a thermal imaging rifle scope and it can be used to see your target even in pitch-black darkness. This is made possible by the thermal sensor that has a NETD of only 35 mK, which results in a crisp and highly detailed image with clearly distinguishable thermal images. The sensor has a resolution of 1024x768 and it has a pixel pitch of 12 µm. The functionality of the thermal imaging rifle scope with a detection range of an impressive 2300 metres, in a traditionally designed rifle scope. Everything is displayed on a high contrast, 1024x768 HD AMOLED display, seated in the eyepiece, that has an eye relief of 50 mm.
On top of the thermal imaging rifle scope is an integrated laser range finder. Naturally, you can use that LRF to determine the distance to your target. It has a wavelength of 905 nm and it has a measuring range of 800 to 1000 metres. You can use the Pulsar Thermion 2 XL50 LRF thermal imaging rifle scope in various weather conditions. It will perform up to standards in temperatures ranging from -25°C to +50°C and it has an IPX7 waterproof rating. This means that it can be submerged for 30 minutes in water for up to one metre. The housing is made of an aluminium alloy and the thermal imaging rifle scope has a total weight of 1030 grams. It has a tube diameter of 30 mm.
It's possible to take pictures and record videos with the Pulsar Thermion XL50 LRF thermal imaging rifle scope. There’s a button on top of the eyepiece that you can use to take pictures or to start or stop recording a video and audio. The JPG pictures and the MP4 videos are stored in the 64 GB internal memory.
This thermal imaging rifle scope is powered by a Dual Li-Ion B-Pack Mini Power system that consists of a 2 Ah replaceable external battery and a 4.9 Ah internal battery. Both batteries are rechargeable and they ensure the Pulsar Thermion 2 XL50 LRF thermal imaging rifle scope will last up to a maximum of seven hours. You can easily charge the batteries by using the USB Type-C connection on the side of the thermal imaging rifle scope.
