Swarovski Z8i 1.7-13.3x42 Gen. II P Rifle Scope

The Swarovski Z8i 1.7-13.3x42 Gen. II P rifle scope offers a combination of ease-of-use and the famous Swarovski quality. Located on the second focal plane, the illuminated reticle always remains equally clearly visible.

With a 93% light transmission and fully multi-coated lenses, Swarovski guarantees an extremely clear and sharp image. The field of view offered by this rifle scope is equally impressive, at 25.2 metres at 100 metres distance with 1.7x magnification. This makes the scope extremely versatile, in combination with its 13.3x maximum magnification. The magnification can be adjusted with the ring at the front of the objective. Adjustments of the point of aim can be made with the turrets on the top- and right side of the scope.

Furthermore, the Swarovski Z8i 1.7-13.3x42 Gen. II P is also equipped with an illuminated reticle, which is adjustable in brightness. To do so, 64 settings are available, divided over day- and night settings. With an easy-to-operate sliding lever the illumination can be switched on, or switched to day- or night mode. Push buttons on the top of the objective can then be used to adjust the brightness. The illumination automatically switches off after 3 hours during the day and after 5 hours during nighttime, if the brightness is not adjusted in the meantime.

Mounting this rifle scope can be done with two different methods, depending on the version that is selected. Either standard mounting rings can be used, or the SR mounting system can be utilised. Swarovski Rail (SR) offers the ability to use an SR mount instead of rings, which utilises the Swarovski Rail underneath the scope. This is used to attach the scope to the mount. This way, no pressure is put on the tube of the scope and the scope is always mounted precisely level on the rifle. Mounting rings, on the other hand, provide more flexibility and are more universal.
