Steyr MS Wild - Green

The Steyr MS Wild – Green is a robust rifle, which remains light thanks to its polymer stock. The cold hammer forged barrel and action consist of one single piece, which benefits the accuracy of the rifle.

What immediately stands out is the green colour of the polymer stock, combined with black accents. Thanks to the choice of synthetic materials the rifle is light (3.3 kg), making it suitable for carrying over longer periods. The stock offers a number of possibilities for adjustments. The length of pull can be changed with spacers, while the cheek rest can be adjusted in height with a button. This way, the rifle can be adapted to the individual shooter. The forend is also equipped with a Weaver/Picatinny mounting rail for a bipod, with two embedded attachment points where mounting rails can be fastened with screws.

A high degree of precision is attained with the cold hammer forged barrel and action. Because they consist of a singular part, the transition between the chamber and the barrel is as gentle. This ensures maximum precision and an action that is as smooth as possible. Cold hammer forging also benefits the durability of the barrel, meaning that the Steyr MS Wild – Green will last for a long time. The trigger has a pull weight of 700 grams and is horizontally adjustable, so that it can be adapted to the size of the hand and grip of the shooter. A Weaver/Picatinny mounting rail on the top offers space for an optic.

The MS Wild has a two-position safety: safe and fire. Of note is the automatic locking of the bolt when the rifle is on safe, ensuring that the rifle cannot be cocked by only pulling the bolt handle. This prevents that to the bolt handle accidentally opens if it accidentally catches on twigs or a backpack. By pressing a small button right behind the handle, the bolt can be racked. This way the rifle can be unloaded with the safety on.
