Salt Gun Bug-A-Salt 3.0 Lawn & Garden

This Bug-A-Salt 3.0 Lawn & Garden is a more powerful version of the well-known salt gun. The fearsome weapon is very effective when deployed against house flies and other annoying insects.

The salt rifle has a colourful look and can be used to deal with (flying) insects by shooting them. You can do so by shooting them point blank, but it’s way more fun to shoot them from a distance. For this purpose, the salt gun has an effective range between 60 and 90 centimetres. As its name suggests, the Bug-A-Salt 3.0 Lawn & Garden is designed for outside use, with its greater power and a larger amount of salt used for each shot. This makes for a larger spread of the individual grains of salt and ensures they hit with greater force.

The targets you’re aiming for are rather small, making it important to be able to aim properly. You can do so easily using the front- and rear sight, of which the rear sight only extends when the Bug-A-Salt is cocked. There’s a see-through salt container on top of the Bug-A-Salt 3.0 Lawn & Garden salt gun that can be refilled easily. And said salt is also the only thing required to use the Bug-A-Salt. Fill it with salt, reload with the pre-moulded pump-action grip on the fore-end and shoot away. No batteries required.

It can be dangerous to shoot in someone’s eyes or someone’s face with the salt gun. As such, it’s not suitable for shooting at humans or pets. There’s a cross-bolt safety pin on the Bug-A-Salt that prevents it from going off accidentally.
