 This Vortex Venom 1-6x24 AR-BDC3 MOA rifle scope has an impact-resistant, aluminium housing with a black anodised coating. That coating provides additional corrosion-resistance. The rifle scope is entirely waterproof, shockproof and it’s nitrogen-purged, so the lenses can’t fog up on the inside. It weighs only 553 grams, so it won’t weigh down your rifle too much.

The Vortex Venom 1-6x24 AR-BDC3 MOA rifle scope features a minimal magnification of 1x and a maximum magnification of 6x. That magnification range means this rifle scope is primarily suitable for aiming at targets at short range (100 metres). The parallax is set to 91.4 metres (100 yards). It has an objective with a diameter of 24 mm, which provides a decent transmission of light. The Venom rifle scope’s lenses are made of XD (extra-low dispersion) glass, so chromatic aberration won’t be a hindrance while observing. As a result, you’re guaranteed to have a crisp and clear image. The rifle scope has a field-of-view of 38 metres at a range of 91.4 metres with minimum magnification. At maximum magnification, it has a field-of-view of 6 metres at 91.4 metres.

This Vortex Venom 1-6x24 rifle scope features an AR-BDC3 MOA reticle, which is placed on the second focal plane, meaning it won’t grow in size as you magnify the image. It should be noted that the subtensions are only accurate at maximum magnification. The reticle features an illuminated centre dot, which has six brightness levels so you can clearly see it in various lighting circumstances. You can switch between brightness levels with the turret on the left side of the tube. That turret also contains the compartment for the CR2032 battery, which powers the reticle’s illumination. The elevation turret and the windage turret are covered with caps and they have a maximum adjustment range of 140 MOA. One rotation of the turret represents 25 MOA and each click stands for an adjustment of ¼ MOA.
