MTC Optics King Cobra F1 8-32x50 AMD2 Rifle Scope

This MTC Optics King Cobra F1 8-32x50 AMD2 rifle scope provides a decent magnification that long range shooters will feel right at home with. The rifle scope features an objective with a diameter of 50 mm and it has internal 52x0.75 thread. That large objective and the fully multi-coated lenses both accommodate a good transmission of light, so the rifle scope provides a clear and sharp image. The King Cobra F1 8-32x50 rifle scope by MTC Optics has an illuminated AMD2 reticle, located on the first focal plane. There’s an additional turret on top of the parallax-turret, that allows you to easily switch between six brightness levels. The illuminated reticle is powered by a CR2032 battery. This rifle scope has a field of view of 4-1 metres at a distance of 100 metres.

As is the case with every rifle scope, this one by MTC Optics has multiple turrets. But there’s something that sets this one apart from the others. The King Cobra rifle scope has a so-called smart turret with a micro gearbox and a 2:1 ratio. As a result, two rotations of the top turret translate to one rotation of the indicator, so you can easily determine in which rotation you are currently. Every clearly audible click represents an adjustment of 0.05 MRAD. The elevation turret also has a stepless adjustment. You can easily switch between the two types of adjustment, as well as a locking function, by using the selector ring at the bottom of the elevation turret.

The MTC Optics King Cobra F1 AMD2 rifle scope has a magnification of 8x minimum and 32x maximum. That magnification allows you to get up close and personal with the target and it allows you to benefit optimally from the reticle situated on the FFP. The rifle scope has an eye relief of 100 mm, so you can keep a safe distance to the eyepiece. It has a tube diameter of 30 mm and the rifle scope is entirely nitrogen-purged, so the lenses can’t fog up on the inside.
