Vortex Defender-XL Red Dot

This Vortex Defender-XL red dot ensures targets can be acquired rapidly, allowing for more speedy aiming with improved accuracy. The red dot has an exceptionally wide objective with a size of 25.5x23.3 mm and it’s available with a 5 MOA or 8 MOA red dot size. Additionally, the Vortex Defender-XL red dot features no less than ten brightness levels (eight for daytime and two for use with night vision), ensuring the dot can always be found with ease. The buttons for adjusting the brightness level are located on the left and right sides of the housing.

The recessed turrets provide a windage adjustment of 115 MOA maximum and an elevation adjustment of 120 MOA maximum. They have an adjustment of one MOA per click and the Vortex Defender-XL red dot can be finely tuned as a result, to achieve the best possible accuracy.

The red dot is made of 7075 black anodised aluminium and it has excellent corrosion resistance. There’s a rough texture on the front, allowing for the red dot to be set against various surfaces to push the slide back. It has a weight of 54.7 grams, so it will barely weigh down the pistol. There’s a DeltaPoint Pro footprint on the bottom of the red dot.

This Vortex Defender-XL red dot uses a CR2032 battery and it has a battery life of roughly 25.000 hours. It has an auto shut-off function, which will automatically turn it off after ten minutes of inactivity. It can then be reactivated by moving it around slightly and it will be ready for accurate aiming instantly.
