Push to Talk Earmor M51 Kenwood 2-Pin

The Earmor M51 push to talk (PTT) has a 2-pin Kenwood connector. This PTT is therefore only compatible with radios with a Kenwood 2-pin connector. Furthermore, the PTT houses a U-174/U socket for a microphone or headset. It also has an additional 3.5 mm socket on the bottom side, where an Earmor M50 PTT button can be connected. With this button the PTT can be operated as well.

Using the Earmor M51 2-pin Kenwood PTT is very straightforward. By pressing and holding the watertight push button on the side of the PTT, the user can communicate via radio. By letting go of the button, transmission is stopped again. The clamp on the back of the PTT allows for easy attaching to clothing or gear.
