This Kershaw Cryo is Kershaw’s most popular pocket knife that’s designed by well-known knife maker Rick Hinderer.
Kershaw choose 8Cr13MoV steel for the blade, which is nice and hard, tough and easy to sharpen. A BlackWash coating gives the blade (and the stainless steel scales) a rugged look and it can be opened with one hand, using the flipper or ambidextrous thumb stud. The blade is assisted by the spring loaded SpeedSafe opening system.
Nice detail: the Kershaw Cryo features a stabilised lock bar in which the lock bar is limited from movement by the stabiliser to prevent over-travel.
