Pocket Knife Casström Lars Fält 17004

This Casström Lars Fält 17004 pocket knife is developed by Casström in conjunction with Lars Fält, who is well-known as founder of the Swedish Armed Forces Survival School and instructor for many special forces worldwide. The main idea behind this knife was that it should perform at least 90% of the tasks asked from it, while being compact enough to carry with you every day.

The result is a very robust pocket knife of which the 3 mm thick blade is made from Böhler N690 steel that’s highly corrosion resistant, while the high amount of carbon and a small percentage of cobalt make for a great hardness (HRC 58-59), resulting in a hard-wearing blade with great edge retention. The Scandinavian grind (one angle instead of two), is great for carving and it’s also easy to sharpen out in the field.

Strong and exceptionally beautiful is what can be said of the wooden handle of the Casström Lars Fält 17004. The wood comes from the curly birch and this special Finish birch has a curled growth, which makes it very popular because of its wonderful grain. The comfortable handle features a back lock and has a lanyard hole.
