This Benchmade Bugout Aluminium pocket knife combines high quality with a non-intrusive design, making it suitable for use under almost all circumstances.
Benchmade chose to make the blade from M390 steel. M390 stays in shape for a long time and thus retains edge very well, doesn’t have to be sharpened very often and increases the life-span of the knife greatly. The high amount of chromium gives rust a hard time, but isn’t able to rid of it entirely.
The blade can be opened with one hand, using the thumb stud, and it’s locked with Benchmade’s own Axis lock that’s integrated in the handle neatly, of which the scales are made from 6061-T6 aluminium.
