HikMicro Heimdal H4D Night Vision Camera

This HikMicro Heimdal H4D night vision camera has a 1.39” AMOLED display. You can use this night vision camera to capture crisp images with a resolution of 2560x1440. Electric Image Stabilization ensures the Heimdal will provide an image that is as clear as possible, with a framerate of 25 fps. The focus ring can be used to hone in on whatever it is that you’re capturing or recording. You can use the Heimdal during the day and during the night. The night vision camera has a built-in Smart IR illuminator that automatically adjusts brightness. In low light conditions, it will increase brightness and in bright conditions it will reduce brightness. That last function in particular will ensure the camera uses less energy, meaning the battery will last longer.

That battery will last up to four hours with normal use. The battery used is a replaceable and rechargeable Li-ion battery, that is easily accessible through the hatch on the side of the HikMicro Heimdal H4D night vision camera. This night vision camera has a completely smooth and modern-looking design, with multiple buttons on top which allow you to easily operate the camera. The Heimdal even has a photo and video viewer, that you can use to view everything you’ve stored on the built-in 32 GB memory card. You can also view the photos and videos through the free to download HikMicro Sight app, that allows you to wirelessly connect the camera and your phone.

The Heimdal night vision camera can be easily operated by using the buttons on top. This one-handed camera has a handy design, that ensures you’ll always have the buttons within reach. Nearly all of them have a double functionality:

On/off-button:
Short press: put the camera in standby or activate it.
Hold it: turn the camera on or off.

Capture/record-button:
Short press: take a photo.
Hold it: start or stop recording a video.

Mode-button:
Short press: switch between four different modes(day, night, auto, defog).
Hold it: go to the menu or leave the menu.

Zoom-button:
Short press: switch between different zoom-levels(1x, 2x, 4x, 8x).

The different modes ensure you can use the HikMicro Heimdal H4D night vision camera in nearly all circumstances. It has a day-mode, a night-mode, an auto-mode and a defog-mode. HikMicro developed its own defog-mode, which allows you to take clear photos or videos, even while its foggy out. This is done thanks to the built-in 850nm infrared illuminator that has a range of 200 meters. The night vision camera has an IP67 waterproof rating, which means it is dustproof and that it can be submerged one metre for 30 minutes.HikMicro has made sure the Heimdal H4D night vision camera won’t be hindered by the elements.
