HikMicro HIKTac TC19 Thermal Imaging Rifle Scope

The HikMicro HIKTac TC19 thermal imaging rifle scope is designed for use on airsoft replicas. A low weight, compact form factor and an included killflash make it exceedingly useful for this application.

In terms of measurements, the scope is modest; it falls into a similar category as holographic sights, although the TC19 is a little wider. It is very lightweight, however, at only 260 grams, including the battery. The weight and relatively compact dimensions ensure that it does not add much weight to a replica, limiting any hindrances in movement and use of the replica itself.

Mounting the rifle scope is quick and straightforward: a QD mount allows for lightning-fast mounting on a Weaver/Picatinny mounting rail. This ease of use is further reinforced by the push buttons on the housing, with which the scope can be operated when wearing gloves. A battery life of around four hours allows for relatively long use; the battery is also easily exchanged, allowing for the use of backup batteries.

The HikMicro HIKTac TC19 thermal imaging rifle scope has a sensitive sensor at a NETD of <18 mK. In practical terms, this means that the sensor is capable of detecting very minute differences in temperature, after which they are smoothly displayed on a 3.1” AMOLED screen with a 50 Hz refresh rate. The optical magnification of the lens is 1.2x, with additional 2x, 4x and 8x electronic magnifications as additional options. Thus, the TC19 can achieve a maximum magnification of 9.6x.
