This Glock 21 Generation 5 MOS is rather big and especially so when it comes to the grip. This does mean that the Gen5 Glock 21 is suited for shooters with large hands as well. There are also no finger grooves on the front of the grip, so the pistol can be wielded by shooters with varyingly sized fingers. The firearm has an interchangeable backstrap that contributes to its ergonomics. The grip on this Glock features the high traction Gen 5 frame texture on all four sides and it provides some added grip. As a result, you can always keep the Glock 21 Generation 5 MOS in your hands firmly, regardless of the slightly larger size.
Modular Optic System The abbreviation MOS in this pistol’s title stands for Modular Optic System. The pistol comes equipped with a front- and rear sight, which can be used to aim just fine. But there’s also a removable slide located right in front of the rear sight. By removing that plate from the slide, you can clear some space to mount something like a red dot. This means you can choose which optics you want to use.
Glock nDLC finish The Glock 21 Generation 5 MOS is finished with the nDLC finish by Glock itself. This results in a good hardness -which contributes to the firearm’s scratch-resistance- and excellent corrosion resistance. This allows the pistol to look like new for a long time. There are grooves along both sides of the slide for added grip, which allow you to pull it back a bit more easily. There’s a short Weaver/Picatinny accessory rail located on the bottom of the pistol’s fore-end, which can be used to mount something like a lamp or a laser.
The magazine & accessibility This semi-automatic pistol is chambered in .45 ACP and it has a magazine with a capacity of 13 rounds. You can clearly see how many rounds are left on the outside of the magazine, through the holes behind each of the rounds. This allows you to easily check how many shots are left in the blink of an eye. The magazine can be taken out of the pistol easily and you can load it back in just as fast. It has a reversible magazine pin that’s installed on the left side of the frame out of the box. This means the firearm can be used by both lefthanded and righthanded shooters. The pistol has a safe action trigger system -meaning the safety is incorporated into the trigger-, which can easily be operated by all shooters.
