Crosman Mag Fire Trailhawk

The Crosman Mag Fire Trailhawk is a gasram break barrel air rifle, which has less recoil and causes less noise than a spring-powered air rifle. It is outfitted with a 10-shot magazine, allowing for quick follow-up shots.

Thanks to the gasram design, this air rifle is much quieter than a traditional break barrel air rifle with a spring. The reason for this is that a gasram air rifle utilises a cylinder with gas, which is compressed and essentially functions similarly to a spring. Because no energy is lost in lateral movement of the spring, this system is more efficient. It also does not cause the well-known ‘twang’ that is produced by a spring-powered air rifle, a sound caused by the spring itself.

Its magazine is a distinguishing property of the Trailhawk. It can contain 10 shots, requiring only a quick breaking of the barrel and closing it again to ready the rifle for another shot. The barrel features an integrated muzzle device, which dampens the noise of the shot. As a result, the air rifle is pleasantly quiet. Furthermore, the barrel is also outfitted with a front sight and a fully adjustable rear sight.

An included rifle scope makes the iron sights a suitable backup. It features a 4x magnification, with an objective of 32 millimetres. The scope can be mounted on the 11-millimetre dovetail mounting rail of the rifle. Thanks to the raised comb on the wooden buttstock, the shooter’s eye is lifted to the right height behind the scope.

The Crosman Mag Fire Trailhawk’s trigger is two-stage, providing the shooter with a clear and predictable shooting experience. A safety lever is present right in front of the trigger, which needs to be pushed forward in order to allow the rifle to be fired.
