Tanatex insect repellent

When hunting, you don’t want to be disturbed by insects such as mosquitoes and ticks. That is why the mesh face covering of this Härkila cap has been treated with Tanatex to keep these pests at a distance. Tanatex is an effective insect repellent based on permethrin, which is toxic to insects. Permethrin is recommended by the World Health Organization (WHO) as a public health pesticide. The Tanatex treatment offers long-lasting performance: according to the manufacturer, it remains effective for up to at least 100 washes.

Camouflage
