The stock of the Browning B525 Sporter Laminated Adjustable is laminated and besides the aesthetic effect this also gives the stock a firm stiffness and uniformity in density. The satin finish provides a fitting top layer that prevents glare.

The barrel is back bored which means the diameter is enlarged compared to a standard bore. This will provide less friction to the wad that in effect will gain more speed and the extra space also means less shot is being deformed. All this results in a more consistent and more compact shot pattern i.e. a higher accuracy. As a side-effect, recoil is also reduced.
