Pocket Knife Kershaw Bareknuckle
The Kershaw Bareknuckle pocket knife combines organic lines with a contrasting edgy design. To let robustness and a low weight go hand in hand, dark grey anodised 6061-T6 aluminium is used for the frame plates. To keep the weight and width as low as possible, a subframe liner lock is riveted into a recess. With this, the opened blade can be securely locked. An FRN backspacer neatly filles the gap between the frame plates.
Kershaw opted to make the blade of the Bareknuckle out of Sandvik 14C28N steel, that’s renowned for its excellent corrosion resistance and toughness, while it’s easy to sharpen too. The hardness of the material is HRC 58-60 and the stonewash finish not only looks great, it also helps cover up small scratches.
You can open the Kershaw Bareknuckle with one hand, using the flipper. The opening movement runs extremely smooth, thanks to the KVT ball bearings. The spine of the blade has partial jimping, so you can securely apply pressure with your thumb.
