Hunting optics

In hunting, optics are as crucial as the weapon itself. With a bad rifle scope, your shooting will be rubbish and the same goes for the quality of mounts for example. But don’t forget hunting is all about observation and hunting optics can offer you a large advantage in that too in many ways. If you walk into our store or have a look online at Krale.shop, you‘ll notice how extensive our optics range actually is. To keep things clear, we’ve put our hunting optics into three segments:

What to look for?

There’s very much to be said about optics for hunting. Take rifle scopes for example; do you want a wide field of view and an illuminated reticle for driven hunts or are you looking for a scope with a magnification range, a large objective and high-quality lenses with multiple coatings for hunting at larger distances or hunting at dusk? Which reticle suits your needs best and do you want it in the first or second focal plane? Same goes for the reticle adjustment in MOA or Mrad and the need for a ballistic tower or not. These are all questions we will ask you when you’re coming to our optics department for a rifle scope and we’ll explain you why too.

Of course we can also advice you about the needed mounts, mounting rails or adapters. Maybe you have questions about night vision or thermal imaging or need a binocular for certain circumstances. Whatever hunting optics question is on your lips, our specialists will be happy to give you sensible advice. Please drop by in our Staphorst store and let us inform you, send us an e-mail or give us a ring during office hours.
