Pocket Knife Böker M4 Sherman

The M4 Sherman pocket knife by Böker is an ode to the American M4 Sherman tank, an intensively used weapon of war that was in production from 1942 to 1945, and was in service until 1957. It has seen action on all fronts of the Second World War, and strongly contributed to the Allied victory.

This pocket knife's blade has been made out of damascus steel, 80 layers made up of different materials used for the production of the Sherman, forged by hand by Chad Nichols in a Customized Ladder pattern, reminiscent to the pattern that the track of the M4 Sherman left behind. Also, the blade axle screw is modelled after the main drive sprocket. Some neat ways to make the legend live on through this pocket knife.

The pocket knife opens very smoothly because of the ball bearing and thumb stud. The knife is locked in place firmly with the solid steel frame lock, a Hinderer Lock-Stop serves as an overstretch protection.

This knife features a handle that has a lightly texturised Micarta scale in the same colour as U.S. Army and Marine Corps Shermans on one side, and a solid steel scale with a tip-up pocket clip on the right.

Böker’s M4 Sherman pocket knife was assembled by hand in Solingen, Germany and has an authenticity certificate and serial number. A portion of the proceeds goes to the Americans in Wartime museum to contribute to educational programmes and safekeeping valuable pieces of history.
