KWA ATP-SE

This KWA ATP-SE airsoft replica is a so-called adaptive training pistol. As the name suggests, this replica is perfectly suited for training purposes. The airsoft replica was designed to resemble familiar duty weapons, which will allow several groups to quickly adapt to it. And they can use it to train without having to waste valuable firearm ammunition. But at the end of the day, it is an airsoft replica and it should also be used in airsoft. All the tactical advantages that authorities have benefitted from for years, have been worked into this replica for you to use to your advantage. 

The KWA ATP-SE consists of a polymer frame and an aluminium slide, resulting in a low-weight replica. The slide has a milled open area on top in the front, showcasing the holes in the top of the barrel. Those holes allow the gas you use to shoot to be repurposed and help reduce recoil. They function the same as a muzzle brake, but are fully integrated in the barrel itself. It’s not an uncommon design choice, but you’ll usually find those holes in the tip of the barrel. The tip of the KWA ATP-SE’s barrel, however, is adorned with external thread which means you can easily screw on a tracer unit or a suppressor. The replica also has an interchangeable back strap, meaning you can adjust the airsoft replica to your own preferences even further. 

Below the fore-end, there’s a short Weaver/Picatinny accessory rail that you can put a flashlight or laser on. The KWA ATP-SE features a three dot sight system with white dots that are clearly visible, even in low-light situations. This means you’ll always be able to aim properly, which is a good thing primarily for the semi-automatic firing mode. The fully-automatic firing mode doesn’t lend itself to accurately shooting quite the same, but that’s also not what that mode is for. You can easily switch between the two firing modes thanks to the fire selector placed towards the back of the slide. After you’ve shot all 23 BB’s, you can use the magazine eject button to take out and replace the magazine.
