G&G CM16 LMG DST

The G&G CM16 LMG DST is an AEG replica based on the design of the Ares Defense AMG-2/MCR. This replica is highly modular and combines portability with consistency and an extremely high magazine capacity. As such, the CM16 LMG DST is well-suited for providing covering fire to support your teammates in any skirmish.

The body is constructed from a combination of aluminium and polymer, making the replica not only robust but also exceptionally lightweight for a light machine gun. A high-capacity drum magazine holding up to 2500 BBs is included. This magazine is powered by two CR123A batteries (not included), however standard M4 magazines can also be used. The dust cover can be opened to fit the included dummy rounds, giving the replica a more realistic appearance.

The G&G CM16 LMG DST features an adjustable hop-up, accessible via the ejector port by pulling back the charging handle. The battery compartment is concealed within the stock and can be accessed by pressing a button to swivel the butt plate to the side. Inside, a MOSFET is installed to enhance trigger response and protect the internal electronics. It also allows for the full-auto mode to be switched to a burst mode. Aside from the ‘hidden’ burst option, the fire selector has three positions: safe, semi-automatic, and fully automatic.

The replica offers extensive customisation options, starting with the adjustable iron sights. Two rear sight options are available, both laterally adjustable. Both can be used together with the flip-up front sight. With help of the included tool, the front sight can be adjusted in height. For mounting optics, the dust cover is equipped with a Weaver/Picatinny rail, and additional rails are located on the top and bottom of the handguard for attaching a variety of accessories. Included is a foregrip which can be transformed into a bipod at the press of a button. M-LOK slots are present on the sides of the handguard.

A flash suppressor is fitted to the barrel via a 14 mm CCW thread and can be removed to install other muzzle devices, such as a tracer unit. The stock is adjustable to six positions, allowing the user to find the optimal length of pull (LOP) for comfortable operation.
