The Beretta Silver Pigeon I Sporting is an over and under with the functional features of Beretta’s high-end shotguns, realised in an attractively priced purely functional basic package.
The shotgun is built round the compact 686 action that has proven itself time and time again in reliability and durability. By using conical locking lugs between the barrels, the profile could be kept nice and low. An added advantage is the fact this construction will keep itself locking tight, even after tens of thousands of shots.
The stock is made of oiled walnut with a grippy checkering and a Schnabel fore-end that provides a classic look. The cold hammer forged Optima Bore barrels are lightweight and offer -in combination with the Optima Chokes- a nice and evenly spread of the shot.
