Beretta combines in the 687 Silver Pigeon III the durability of the low-maintenance 680 platform with a refined classic design, featuring a grade 2.5 walnut stock with deep gloss finish that’ll enhance the grain of the wood and offers a good protection. The 20mm soft rubber MicroCore butt pad is comfortable, shock absorbing and helps with perfect positioning.
The slim receiver with its play-free double conical lugs features a selector that enables you to choose with which barrel the first shot is taken. Purely aesthetic, but nonetheless very beautiful are the luscious engravings with hunting theme, designed by Beretta’s master engravers. Beretta has really gone the extra mile by also engraving the top and bottom of the receiver.
For a good uniform spread and less recoil, the cold hammer forged Steelium Optima Bore HP barrels feature 80 mm double forcing cones. The 6x6 mm rib of the Beretta 687 Silver Pigeon III has a very fine checkering to prevent reflection.Specifications
