This Kershaw Concierge is nice and sleek, making it perfect as an EDC. The handle is ergonomically shaped for a comfortable grip and by making the scales of the extremely durable G10 material, the Kershaw Concierge can handle some abuse.
The blade is made from stainless and easy to sharpen 8Cr13MoV steel with a hardness of HRC 57-59, featuring a carbonitride coating that offers an extra protection against corrosion. Opening can be done with one hand, using the flipper. The movement is swift and smooth thanks to the KVT bearings used. Once opened, the blade is securely locked with a liner lock.
The Kershaw Concierge is designed by well-known knife maker and designer Dmitry Sinkevich. He filled the space between the liners with an FRN backspacer and opted for a larger than normal pivot, contrasting with the lean lines of the rest of the pocket knife.
Sinkevich has made a lot of effort to keep the thickness as thin as possible. He did this by using the earlier mentioned cupless KVT bearings that are recessed into the liners and by using an inset pocket clip.
