Tripod Ulfhednar with Ballhead Arca-style 20 kg

This Ulfhednar Arca-style tripod with ballhead can support a load of up to 20 kg. Thanks to the use of extendable legs that are manufactured from carbon it remains compact and relatively lightweight.

Despite its low weight, this tripod is extendable up to a height of 180 cm. This height allows for use while standing straight up, even on an incline. In addition, every leg is individually adjustable in angle with three settings. Using the three twist locks, each leg can be adjusted precisely in length. The central column is height-adjustable and equipped with a ballhead on top with an Arca-Swiss mounting point. At the bottom end, the central column is equipped with a hook. This hook can be used to add weight to the tripod for instance, in order to increase its stability.

These possibilities for adjustments offer great flexibility to the user, which is further expanded by the ball joint. This joint can smoothly rotate 360 degrees, while also allowing for tilting in all directions. A cut-out in the ball joint allows for a tilt of up to 90 degrees. As a result, it is possible to direct a mounted spotting scope, camera or rifle directly up or down. A horizontal and a vertical spirit level on the Arca-Swiss mounting base ensure that its exact orientation is always visible.

By detaching the ball joint and one leg, the two can be combined into an adjustable monopod, offering further flexibility in its use. Additionally, it is also possible to attach the ballhead directly to the tripod, without the central column. This way, the tripod can be reduced to a height of only 25 cm – very useful for prone shooting.
