Transceiver Hytera BD505LF

The Hytera BD505LF transceiver is suited for digital communication as well as analogue communication. Using the digital mode will allow you to radio everybody on a channel, but you can also use it to communicate with one individual user. Using the analogue mode will only enable you to communicate with everybody on the channel you’re using. The transceiver has three zones, which all have sixteen channels. The total amount of 48 channels ensures you can stay in contact with a large number of people. This transceiver has a transmitting power of 0.5 W.

The Hytera BD505LF transceiver weighs about 220 grams and it feels great to hold in your hand. There’s a volume knob on top, next to the rotating knob that allows you to switch between different channels. The Push-to-Talk button on the side of the transceiver is highly noticeable and there’s a Side Key just below it, that you can assign a function to yourself. There’s a compartment on the other side that houses the connection for the hearing protector and the microphone. That transceiver has a rough texture that partly covers the front and completely covers the back for added grip. It also has a VOX-function that automatically engages the transceiver the moment it detects your voice. This allows you to communicate with others handsfree.

This Hytera BD505LF transceiver is powered by a 1500 mAh Lithium Ion battery. The transceiver will last no less than 16 hours when it’s in digital mode and it will last 12 hours when it’s put in analogue mode. It has an IP54 waterproof rating, which means it has decent dust protection and that it is splashproof. The transceiver won’t get damaged in the rain.

The Hytera BD505LF transceiver has a UHF 446 MHz frequency range and it can be used without a license.
