Ruger Mark IV Competition

Part of the Ruger Mark IV line-up, is the aesthetically pleasing Mark IV Competition pistol. The Competition features a 6.88” (174 mm) bull barrel with slabbed sides. It also features a solid stainless steel one piece receiver with a pearled surface. The lower receiver, the grip frame, is also a solid CNC machined piece of stainless steel.

The Mark IV Competition, like all Mark IV’s, features an ambidextrous safety and has fully adjustable sights. Another feature is the non-reciprocating slide, which is inherently more accurate than its counterpart. This small calibre handgun also features target grips, with a thumbrest which completely fills your hand and provides a comfortable hold.

And of course it features the Mark IV Takedown system, starting with the positive magazine ejector to remove the magazine, put the ambidextrous safety on safe, drop the bolt, and press the Takedown button that allows you to rotate the upper receiver off of the grip frame, you can then remove the bolt for cleaning. The gun is disassembled completely, and reassembly is just as quick and easy as it came apart.
