Pocket Knife Opinel N°06 Inox

This Opinel N°06 Inox is the smallest variation of the pocket knife that’s known all over the world. The design of this pocket knife comes from the nineteenth century and in 1955 the well-known Virobloc locking system was incorporated, securing the blade in both opened and closed position. The modest simplicity of this design is its biggest feature and the value for money is legendary.

The characteristic round handle of the Opinel N°06 Inox is made from beech. It lies comfortable in your hand, offers a good grip and weighs next to nothing. Opinel now uses Sandvik 12C27M steel for the nail nick opened blade. This steel is stainless and by adding some carbon, the hardness (HRC 57-58) is excellent. It makes for a blade that can be sharpened to a razors edge and because the tough blade is very thin, this pocket knife is the stuff of dreams when it comes to slicing qualities.
