This Bestech Texel Black pocket knife has a sheepsfoot blade, hence the knife is named after world’s best-known sheep breed, the Dutch Texel sheep.

By skeletonising the liners and only apply a backspacer to the rear of the handle to double as a lanyard hole, the weight of the Bestech Texel Black could be kept as low as 101 grams. The blade rotates in ball bearings between the liners and is made from incredibly robust D2 steel (hardness HRC 59-61) that’s very tough and shows an exceptional edge retention, so sharpening intervals are wide apart.
