Rather than firing BBs in traditional airsoft grenades, Strataim's Echo Red causes a loud bang of up to 79 decibels. This blast is created by the Bio Blastcap that must be installed in the blast grenade. The bang can have a disorienting effect, but will not cause any (hearing) damage.

The design of this Strataim Echo Red is based on the well-known Strataim Epsilon BB grenade using a 7075 aluminum alloy and 304 stainless steel in its manufacturing. These used materials ensure that the grenade is extremely robust and shock resistant. The outside is also provided with a red coating that protects the grenade against damage.

This Strataim Echo Red bang grenade is supplied with 25 Bio Blastcaps and has a weight of only 220 grams.
