G&G CM16 GMS Striker

The CM16 GMS Striker by G&G is an AEG replica with interesting features. Most noticeable is the folding handguard: this allows for more convenient transport of the replica to a skirmish.

G&G has equipped this replica with high-quality internals, which allow for a high degree of customisation. The GMS Striker is delivered as standard with a MOSFET Integrated Gearbox (MIG). The Aster MOSFET with integrated Electronic Trigger Unit (ETU) is produced by Gate, which is known for its quality. The Gate Aster MOSFET and ETU can both be configured using the trigger and fire selector, or with a smartphone through the accompanying Gate Control Station app. This allows for the adjustment of trigger sensitivity, rate of fire and many other settings according to personal preferences.

Another couple of interesting features of the G&G CM16 Striker are visible on the outside. In the first place, of course, the foldable handguard and barrel. These can be unlocked by pulling the cord on the left side of the handguard, which unlocks the system and allows it to fold open. The entire barrel with hop-up unit folds with the handguard, allowing for extremely compact stowage of the replica.

This handguard also offers the possibility of mounting many accessories to the M-LOK slots on the bottom and on the sides. A continuous Weaver/Picatinny mounting rail on the top offers more options for mounting attachments or optics. Removable, dual-profile iron sights are also attached to this top mounting rail. When they are folded down, a set of optical fibre iron sights can be used, while an adjustable set of iron sights is available when folded up.

Finally, the CM16 Striker by G&G offers an ingenious method to conveniently adjust the power of the replica. Through the back of the adjustable stock and buffer tube the main spring can be removed, allowing it to be exchanged for a weaker or stronger one. This allows for quick and on-the-fly adjustment of the power of the replica, without requiring disassembly.
