Flashlight Fenix E18R V2.0

This Fenix E18R V2.0 flashlight boasts an impressive performance for its compact size. It has a size of only 67x22x22 mm, but it does manage to produce a beam of light of 1200 Lumens, that has an intensity of 5397 candela. Having said that, the E18R V2.0 flashlight features multiple light modes, so you can choose the right light mode for every situation. These light modes all use the Luminus SST40 cool white LED.

The Fenix E18R V2.0 flashlight boasts an excellent ease of use. It has only one button, which allows you to turn it on or off and that allows you to easily switch between the different modes. Pressing it for half a second will turn the flashlight on or off. You can then switch between the different light modes by pressing the button once. Aside from the regular light modes, this flashlight also has a strobe light mode, that you should have at the ready at all times. That’s why you can activate the strobe light mode by keeping the button pressed for 1.2 seconds. The flashlight will memorise what light mode you used last and it will immediately switch to that mode as you turn it back on again. Additionally, you can use the button to lock the flashlight. You can do so by pressing the button twice in quick succession and it allows you to prevent the flashlight from turning on accidentally.

The housing on this Fenix E18R V2.0 flashlight is made of black anodised 6061-T6 aluminium and it has an IP68 waterproof rating. This means it is entirely dust- and waterproof and that it will remain functional when submerged to a depth of two metres. The flashlight has a double-sided clip as well as a magnetic rear, which means you can suspend it however you like. This flashlight has a weight of only 56 grams, making it an excellent EDC flashlight.

The E18R V2.0 flashlight features a rechargeable 16340 li-ion battery, which can be charged with a USB Type-C cable. It uses an indicator that displays the remaining battery level with either a green or a red light. Below, you’ll find a brief overview of the indications and their meaning:
